This sculpture is representing how I felt anxiety. When I am alone, I become anxious and questions come up in my mind. ‘Why are you existing for?’ ‘Why am I here?’ ‘who are you?’ and it is keep coming up, I unconsciously visualize ‘anxiety thoughts’ to an image in my mind they came out like black worm-like shape tangling and moving around and starts to surround me. Which I have expressed that using expanding foam. The flower inside is representing myself. This flower is called cluster amaryllis. They have a definition like independence, restart, give up, sad memories, etc. I titled this work inhale/exhale because through our own living we people feel anxious about things, but people are good at hiding their anxiety and living/breathing normally. But when they become alone this anxiety comes and attack them. In the end, those black worms shaped creature will start surrounding them.
